This Privacy Policy explains what information Doodle Drawing Ideas (“the site”, “we”) collects when you visit, how that information is used and what choices you have. The site is an informational website about simple doodles. You can read every tutorial without creating an account and without giving us any personal information.
Information you give us
Contact form. When you send a message through the Contact page, we receive the name, email address, subject and message that you type in. We use them only to read your message and to reply to it. Please do not put sensitive personal information in the form.
The site has no user accounts, no newsletter and no comment section, and it does not sell anything.
Information collected automatically
Server logs. As on most websites, the server that hosts the site may record technical details of each request, such as the IP address, the browser type, the page requested and the date and time. These records are used to keep the site secure and running, and to find the cause of technical problems.
Abuse protection. To limit automated abuse of the contact form, the site briefly keeps a count of recent submissions linked to a scrambled form of the sender’s IP address. The address itself is not stored for this purpose, and the count expires after about an hour. If a message cannot be sent, the text you typed is kept for a few minutes so that the form can show it to you again, and it is then deleted.
Cookies. The site uses very few cookies. They are described in our Cookie Policy.
How we use information
- To reply to messages sent through the contact form.
- To run, protect and maintain the site.
- To correct mistakes and improve the tutorials.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Third-party services
Where a page links to another website, that website has its own privacy policy, and we are not responsible for its content or practices.
Analytics and advertising. At the date of this policy, the site does not use third-party analytics and does not show third-party advertising. If analytics or advertising services are added later, their providers may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits or to show ads. This policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated first, to name the providers and explain your choices, before any such service is switched on.
How long we keep information
Messages sent through the contact form are kept only as long as they are needed to deal with your request, and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are kept for a limited time and are then deleted or anonymized, according to the retention settings of the hosting service.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or to object to certain uses of it. To make a request, write to us through the Contact page. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.

Children’s privacy
Doodle Drawing Ideas is a general-audience site. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, please tell us through the Contact page and we will delete it.

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
